On Thursday, I visited my new friend in Kyoto Sai-in Area (west of the city: Hankyu Saiin Station) to get some ideas for my "machiya vacation rental project" in Gion, Kyoto. She teaches hospitality management/tourism (perfect for my new project!) at a university in Kyoto and is very resoucefull. My vacation rental would be full of customers if she become a marketing manager for sure. Thank you for lending me the books of Okami (general manager of Kyoto Ryokan)! The lunch we had at a Chinease restaruant nearby was funtastic! Here are some photos. (bycicle time from Gojyo to Sai-in was about 30 minutes)
